Don’t Miss Out On This

About a week and a half ago, I changed my site and in the process, I lost out on all of my followers. Sacrifice and A New Venture

For the past four or five months, I trained week in and week out to run a marathon. I’m a morning run kind of guy, so this usually meant getting up a bit earlier than I have in the past, lacing up my shoes and heading out the door. Most days, I am back in the house before everything is in full swing. I do my long runs on Saturday’s which usually meant I was home a little later. Continue reading

What Now?

June 4 was the first time I said it “out loud”. Just one month earlier I had run my second ever half marathon and crushed my previous time. I was feeling good about running. I was confident in my half marathon abilities. I was tossing around the idea of jumping to the marathon. Truth is, I was dead when I finished that last race and I wasn’t sure I could handle another 21.1km. When I finally decided I was up to the challenge, I looked at what it would take to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I still land in the youngest age bracket up until 2018.
